Anfangs fand ich die Idee von Bluecode ansprechend, doch bei genauerer Betrachtung sticht etwas Störendes ins Auge.
Bluecode wirbt stark mit europäischer Unabhängigkeit und der Abkehr von „Big Tech" sowie internationalen Kreditkarten. Doch die technische Umsetzung zeigt eine entscheidende Lücke: Die App funktioniert ausschließlich auf Android und iOS. Damit bleiben Nutzer von Sailfish OS, Ubuntu Touch oder PostmarketOS ausgeschlossen. Eine „emulierte" Nutzung über Tools wie Waydroid ist für den Alltag kaum praktikabel.

The Camera app is now marginally better. In particular, switching between the 3 cameras, and the front (user-facing) camera now works in monochrome - not weird violet-pink as it was in v. 24.04.
Still not as good as cameras in #UbuntuTouch (or Android), but a welcome step forwards!

Wobei ich ein Dualboot am liebsten nutzen würde. Also z.B. eOS, #IodeOS oder #grapheneos damit ich auf F-Droid zugreifen kann und googlefree bin. Alternativ möchte ich aber #ubuntutouch starten können um komplett vom Android losgelöst zu sein. Das Smartphone von @volla kommt der Sache schon sehr nahe. Wobei ich mir das Konzept des modularen #shiftphone auch gut gefällt, nur leider kein Dualboot. Möchte nicht mit zwei Geräten herumlaufen.

Ny udgave af Ubuntu Touch.
Den nye udgave kommer i to varianter, 24.04-2.0 og 24.04.-1.4. Begge udgaver baserer sig på Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, som Touchs versionsnummerering kraftigt antyder :)
Der er to udgaver af Ubuntu Touch, fordi ikke alle telefoner understøtter de nye funktioner, men det arbejder udviklerne på at få styr på.
Blandt forbedringerne kan nævnes:
* Ny motor til Morph-browseren
* Understøttelse af Widevine DRM
* Ubuntu Touch tilpasser nu skærmbilledet på de telefoner, der har "notches"
