CW: re: vegan ube dessert - final result photo
@scremlin and I did end up making the third attempt last night! We then put them in the fridge after eating several and went to bed, so I didn't get to take a photo of what they looked like in the light. This afternoon, I did heat up a couple in the microwave and this is the result!
They were great! Mixing vegan brownie mix into the filling was such a great idea. Our only regret is now that we didn't make them bigger. We ended up with 8 small ones, instead of 4 really big ones, which is what the recipe should have made. We have an idea for next time we get the urge though :) These were delicious :vegan_heart:

@scremlin So, this is our second attempt so far trying to make this recipe for vegan ube rolls. The first time, our yeast was dead, so we had to just throw out the dough. (luckily we scaled down the recipe to only make 4 rolls)
The second time, we didn't let the yeast rise enough because it didn't get warm enough and we didn't proof it a second time. Here's how the second time came out.
