#introduction As I think I've finally settled on an instance, might as well introduce myself.
I'm Kevin, and I'm a PhD candidate at #ualbany in #rhetoric and #writing. I'm currently working on a #dissertation exploring the use of #poeticInquiry in #firstYearWriting. Other academic interests include #scifi, #posthumanism, #television and #adaptationStudies, #travelWriting, #digitalHumanities, #memory, and #time and #narrative.
Other interests include #mtg, particularly on Arena; #skiing and #traveling, though not as much lately; #stationary, #fountainPens, and #notebooks; learning #languages; and my two (and any and all other) #cats.

Since people seem to be doing re-introductions: I'm Ron McClamrock from the #Philosophy Department at the University at Albany, SUNY (#UAlbany). I work and teach primarily in #PhilosophyOfMind & #PhilosophyOfPsychology, including issues concerning #consciousness, but also have interests in #phenomenology, #MusicTheory, #AI, and #PhilosophyOfScience. Democratic Socialist, dad, mediocre guitarist. I've been on twitter (@profron) for years, but hoping that activity will segue over to Mastodon.
