My xiaomi 5, with no apparent reasons, got stuck in the system load loop, until battery’s dead. Luckily, I have Twrp installed there and at least I can power it off. Now, is there a way to make it work again, without full reinstallation?

По личным ощущениям, индустрия планшетов потихоньку отошла на второй план у массовых пользователей. И речь сейчас про буквально все сегменты, от недорогих устройств на Android до всей линейки iPad. Эта история осталась актуальной для гораздо более узкой прослойки людей, как будто. Я же, в свою очередь, любил свой iPad сначала mini второго поколения (еще в студенческие годы), а затем и Air 2, который дожил до 2023 года, пока его случайно не разбила старшая дочь. Но вот как-то новый мне покупать не хотелось — я банально не нашел ни одной причины это делать по большей части. А недавно, разбирая шкафы в квартире родителей, я нашел артефакт — Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. Компактный, красивый и, что самое главное, рабочий. И тут возникла у меня идея, ход исполнения и результаты которой я и расскажу в этом материале. История о воскрешении далее

У многих есть старые гаджеты которыми уже сложно пользоваться из‑за их возраста, но они до сих пор работают, причём выкинуть их жалко, а дорого уже не продать. У меня так валялся планшет Amazon Fire HD 6 (Ariel), он 2014 года. На досках объявлений такой стоит около тысячи рублей — ищется по фразе «amazon fire планшет». Как‑то раз я увидел в магазине фоторамку и сразу же подумал про этот старый планшет. Но конечно, самое простое было просто купить готовую фоторамку. Или попробовать без всякой перепрошивки воспользоваться Fire Toolbox чтобы получить расширенный контроль над системой. Но FireOS заточена под amazon, а для меня это не актуально. А ещё мне было интересно не только увеличение скорости от чистого Android вместо FireOS, но и сам процесс перепрошивки, потому что раньше были времена, когда я активно менял прошивки (ROMs) на своем основном телефоне, экспериментировал с ядрами и модами. Конечно, рационально — это глупость. Но если вы любите ломать железо — вам сюда. И мне снова захотелось пройти этот квест от получения полного доступа через уязвимость до установки чистого Android. I'm not sure why I do it but I'm working on a slightly crazy project and a small part of that involves installing @postmarketOS on a Samsung A5 2017 (a5y17lte) which I got off eBay for £7 as it had a shattered screen.
Cue a rabbit hole for the last 4 days where I have wrestled the pmbootstrap, solved a bug which has stopped many downstream devices working recently, and then learnt all about adb sideloading and #twrp and #lineageos and finally today I have an installation of #postmarketos running connected over usbnet.
I don't know why I do it to myself... Now to write it up as don't want to have to relearn that all again

So, I've flashed #CRDroid version 7.39 with #Android 11.
You can find flashing instructions around the internet. I rather give you a bunch of useful links for you to not search and download something random.We need #Odin to flash something because Samsung's download mode isn't compatible with Fastboot and only operable via their program.
I've used #Odin3 v3.14 which my friend gave to me. Probably you can download it here but I'm not sure:
