Haven't done a #2ToneTuesday in a while, so here's a classic. The Bodysnatchers were a pretty short-lived band (1979-1981) with a pretty big impact.
Here's "Let's Do Rock Steady." And you know what? I agree. Let's.
This song was also released as "Let's Do *The* Rock Steady" on "Dance Craze: The Best of British Ska... Live!" It was again renamed "People Do Rock Steady" on the "Summer Reggae" compilation.

Guess what, #ska fans? It's another #TwoToneTuesday. This week, it's the Toasters with "2-Tone Army."
I always thought it was fascinating that the Toasters recorded "clean" versions of some of their songs. This song, "Don't Let the Bastards Grind you Down," and "I Wasn't Gonna Call You Anyway" all had radio edits with altered lyrics.
Did the Toasters ever chart? I'm searching, and it doesn't look like it. Still worth listening to? Heck yes.

My #TwoToneTuesday song for today is a two tone revival track. I picked up this record in a Jump Up deal and it’s been on regular rotation recently. Here’s one of my favorites from The Hotknives’ album The Way Things Are.

We still have an hour of #TwoToneTuesday left in us! And you know who I've been spinning a lot of lately? I mean seriously a lot? The Selecter.
"On My Radio" is a great song with a really infectious "groove" throughout.
It's a classic tale of someone choosing the radio over their S.O. (with a criticism of radio airplay atop that).
Did it chart in the U.S.? Nope! This is why we can't have nice things.
It hit the top ten in U.K., Netherlands and Belgium, though.

I mean... This is Skastodon. I don't have to tell you this. You already know.
But here's Madness with "House of Fun," a single that didn't even chart in the U.S.
