One day I expect I'll be more comfortable with the neologism Fediverse, but only in the sense that I only slightly tolerate, and with great reluctance, the phrases "twittersphere" and "blogosphere", at least one reason of which is their coinage and usage by marketers and self-promoters who I instinctively take a disliking to as gross and yucky.

The sad part is it almost seemed like they were about to turn over a new leaf last month by accepting donations in sound-money from actual #savers.

Then the #grifters in the #twitterSphere saw an end to that, of course.
