That's my only reaction to any story about the website formerly known as #Twitter. It was a cesspool at it's peak, but Musk has only dug a bigger and cessier pool under the first one.

And I've never seen any evidence that Elon has learning anything from any of his mistakes. He's just been lucky enough to keep failing sideways or even upwards.

But let's see if he can eat all of a $40-billion loss now!

Requested my #Twitter archive tonight and will delete all old posts soon, only leaving my current whereabouts. I realize any of my photos may already be/being snagged but I’m not very paranoid about art rights. The greatest value in my art is its authenticity. If someone doesn’t care about that then they’re not open to genuine connection with my art anyway. I share experiences, I don’t sell decorations. Having said that I am still intending to delete my old posts. This development and disrespect for my LGBTQ community are good reasons to leave that place empty. Your photographs will get seen but the number of sightings will never be known by you unless your photo is favourited or boosted. We're not here for make viral posts. We're here to share what we have in the hope that someone else's day will be made better for it.

And those of us who have fled from the birdsite are not refugees. We don't refer to ourselves as that because it detracts from the conversations of people who have left in fear of their lives seeking a better life for the future.

The #fediverse is non-hierarchical intelligence, direction is distributed through all of instances. The natural world is organized in a similar fashion. Twitter is based on # hierarchy, authoritarianism.
It is ironic that many #twitterquitter s are uncomfortable with non-authoritarian organization, yet claim to oppose the politics of the right.

So I thought #deactivating a #Twitter account would delete all of one's followers...and mine were, temporarily. So I locked my account down.

But just now I was over to see a friend's update. Had to log in and all of my followers were back. Still locked-down, but I had been under the impression that my follower account would stay at 0. #FYI #TwitterQuitter #MastodonMigration

For anyone who exported their twitter and got annoyed that all the links are shortened t[.]co links I wrote a quick script that get's the actual URL.
