Kurze Info zwischendurch: In den Zugriffszahlen auf @heiseonline über #Twitter und #Mastodon seh ich übrigens bislang überhaupt keine Auswirkungen des Leselimits, der Login-Sperre und der jüngsten #MastodonMigration.
Ganz im Gegenteil: Weil die Leute auf Twitter auch besonders gerne Sachen über Twitter und das Chaos bei Twitter lesen, sind die Zugriffe von dort sogar merklich angestiegen. #Mastodon bleibt derweil höchsten stabil.

Okay, I'm typing this for those on the Bird Site but I'll post it here also.
Time to ditch the bird and move to another site. It's clear Dictator Musk isn't listening to us users and just using this site for his own interest.
(Musk can't see this post, I blocked him, if he finds this post, that's technically stalking in state of Oregon, since I blocked him and he's still finding ways to spy on me)

For Canadian furries, #Twitter is far from dead. Among 35 fursuiters at #FurnalEquinox I took notes for, only 1 has a #Mastodon account, compared to 25 who use Twitter. This doesn't count those I only have a badge photo or those I already know.
And this is before considering Japanese and Chinese furries on Twitter (those that bother signing up for Twitter and not just use LINE or WeChat, anyway). #TwitterIsDying

Well, things are going from Bad to WORSE on Twitter under Musk and he’s basically doing everything to just shut it down and write it off on tax.
Latest move: making APIs paid.
He already destroyed third party client apps with policy change, and now, he’s trying to kill any of the small projects that uses APIs.
At this point, Twitter is sinking faster than ever.

I've been keeping my Twitter account to protect my handle. And lurking. Also to keep lurking until the main folks I like to follow have moved. It keeps changing my setting from 'Latest Tweets' to 'Top Tweets'. What shit-housery. #twitterisdying
