I often annotate or arrange images in :inkscape: @inkscape and emojis are often a very nice addition to point to things or add emphasis.

Here I made a useful emoji SVG picker with #bemoji, #twemoji and #homeManager that simplifies search and dragging into any program:

The Twemoji #MaxCDN source died a few days ago. The original developers left #Twitter and did a community fork recently. It is now using #jsDelivr CDN by default. (see new official repo mentioned earlier)

Now that a certain unhinged billionaire man-child is in charge of #Twitter, I wonder, what will become of the #twemoji project?

Those emoji aren’t just on Twitter. They’re also right here on Mastodon and in apps such as Discord.

It would be nice if someone forked it and kept it going. Would be even better if some of the original devs were involved. They’re damn good emoji, and it would be a shame if they withered on the vine.

the diagonals of the anarchist are a jaggy, because they are made with gradients. i thought antialiasing would take care of that 🤷. chances are i'll redo them, shouldn't be much hassle…
