Krinkles the Clown

Krinkles was the mascot for Post Sugar Rice Krinkles cereal, introduced in 1956. Post launched the cereal to compete with Kellogg's Sugar Smacks. They eventually dropped Krinkles + the cereal underwent several name changes (Frosted Rice Krinkles) before the product line was discontinued in 1969. It seems the actor playing Krinkles remains a mystery to this day!

I know Hollywood, and sometimes I write about it. Producing beer commercials was some of the most fun I ever had as a producer. I took that reality and heaved it over the top in BEER POUR.#Hollywood #movie #film #television #TV #Tvcommercials #SuperBowlCommercials #commercial #advertising #mastodon #filmmastodon #satire #reviews #review #producer #filmproducer #humor #funny #humorous #absurdist #Losangeles #filmmaking #politics #political #beerpour #politicalhumor #action #cut #directors

I can accept a talking gecko, but you lose me with the English accent. 🦎

Sorry MacDonalds. “Love is in the air” doesn’t immediately spring to mind when I walk into one of your restaurants or look at a bag of flaccid fries.
A slight rethink may be in order.

If we have to have TV commercials, Progressive Insurance gets the "worlds best" award. For years they have had the most hilarious, entertaining, and oh-so true spots. 👏
I particularly love the NFL Instant Replay series. But Dr. Rick is also a worthy contender.

It almost makes commercial breaks enjoyable.

Good morning, Fediverse!

Greets come with some R-Type home conversion action in his UK tv commercial that reminds us that Boots (the chemists), a pharmacy and beauty products chain, was also once a major retailer of computer and console games.

I myself remember picking up C64 Codies and Kixx budget games from there with my pocket money - and even buying PlayStation 1 games. I can still remember picking up a double pack of Syphon Filter 1 and 2 for £19.99 from a local Boots in late 1999 or early 2000.

Any unexpected places y'all remember buying games from?
