Trying Dynasty the CW / Netflix remake and i’m absolutely hooked! I am utterly enthralled with rich snobs backstabbing and fucking each other over. The audio description isn’t pointing out any of the characters races, so I was a little confused a lot throughout a few parts. There’s a part where the butler and a guy are stuck in a cellar and the butler says, take a gun and shoot the lock off the door, and the guy replies, don’t stereotype me! I can infer at least one of them is a person of color, but this is where a case where the objective audio description fails to guide me along with the drama / story. Am I wrong to have an aversion to the “milk the cow for all it’s worth” concept in #TV #entertainment? I love me a good #TVshow and thoroughly enjoyed #Silo so far, even though they veered off the books in the 3rd season. But I also like a good (and finite) ending so I can move on to something else. The Silo story has been told, forget about spinoffs and sequels/prequels! Let’s find a fresh and original story, Apple!

Don’t tell the fans of the original, but I actually really like the drama remake of Bel-Air. It’s a drama reimagining of the 1990s sitcom the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The audio description even uses culturally appropriate words. The audio description is incredibly dry when it’s describing action, but I’m loving all the growth the characters have. #BelAir #TV #TVShow #Bel-Air

Amei muito Community! OMG! Como fui feliz vendo essa série pela primeira vez! Se passa numa escola superior comunitária, ou seja, barata e sem critérios rigorosos de seleção de alunos.

Sei que muita gente opta por simplificar dizendo que *college* é faculdade, mas a verdade é que *college* pode ser muita coisa lá, a única certeza é que é depois do ensino médio. Dependendo do programa escolhido, pode ser:

1) um curso "técnico"* completo (já sai com profissão),
2) um curso superior "tecnológico"* (já sai com profissão),
3) um curso introdutório que vale créditos para fazer uma faculdade completa depois.
