Well, I'm finished! #Tutter :tutter: now migrated from an old #Kubernetes cluster with custom built and patched container image to it's own #NixOS vm! 🎉
Hopefully this'll help me maintain it easier, the migration from the old node with the kubernetes was necessary, so at least I tried this!Mental note: I'll need to write a blogpost about this process... So sad, that I still want to migrate my site from #Hugo to something static (manual html + css (maybe + js)) or ssg...

@gyptazy this is really tempting. I’m planning to move my matrix server to the cloud from my onprem server and maybe I’ll try to host my mail again… I tried it once, but the underling infra was not really reliable, so I lost a lot email, including a job offer 🙃
Definitely the status page (#UptimeKuma) (for #Tutter #Blintflix and my other not so important pet projects) could move from my #Rock5 in my bookshelf to the cloud.
And $10/mo is super generous! -

Question:
Currently we have a problem, that #tutter does not uses the X-Forwarded-For properly.I was tweaking with the settings and set trusted proxy in the config, but it seems to me, that the setting is ineffective...

Any idea, how to approach this?
The #mastodon instance runs inside #kubernetes with #traefik as reverse proxy and ingress.
Perhaps traefik mess' something up? 🤔
