A quick take on #sportsball : the #TushPush should not be banned for the sake of player safety; it should be banned because it's absolutely stupid. Pushing and slingshotting players around is what you do at recess in elementary school; it isn't (what the refs now call) a "football play". We already have people hurdling the line to block a kick, now they're pushing people through it...I give it maybe one season before the first cheerleader-style pyramid is attempted to vault a running back over the line, perhaps with a somersault and half-twist in the middle. "Ohhhh, only a 5.2 from the middle linebacker, how disappointing... hopefully he can make up for it on the artistic merit scores!" #NFL -
