Je découvre aussi que les conditions contractuelles affichées pour le loueur ne correspondent pas du tout aux miennes: interdiction de faire plus de 400km/jour, de changer de province, de rouler sur certaines routes, etc. Tout cela a logiquement contribué à faire péter un câble au loueur, et à moi...

Après une journée perdue, Turo qui y met de la mauvaise foi et parle en Français au loueur (anglophone, qui ne comprend pas), Turo accepte de prendre en charge le remorquage (2500 $ Canadiens) en faisant jouer l'assistance premium que j'avais souscrite.

Thread #Turo 5. Le Lendemain, je contacte le loueur, et lui explique la situation. Il me propose d'aller chez les 2 garagistes les plus proches...fermés pour cause de jour férié. Un garagiste mobile se rend sur place rapidement et confirme le diagnostic, alternateur hs, risque d'incendie. Confirmation au loueur. J'appelle l'assistance, le sketch commence. Assistance en Français qui me confirme qu'un dépanneur peut venir, mais qu'il faudra attendre, ce sera aux frais du loueur.

Thread #Turo 4 Tout se passe bien jusqu'au 17 jour/19, et je sens une odeur de brulé caractéristique. Batterie en surchauffe, qui fume. 18h, perdu dans la campagne à 120 km de mon hôtel, et pas de réseau. J'ai déjà connu ça, donc je sais que c'est un problème d'alternateur, et qu'il faut faire 20 minutes de pause toutes les 5/10 minutes pour laisser refroidir capot ouvert, sous peine d'incendie. Je mets 6h à rentrer pour faire 120km.
