I'm currently having a (space) whale of a time with SteamWorld Heist. It's side-scrolling turn-based strategy game all the way from 2015.
As a Gamer(TM) who doesn't have much time or energy for gaming: I don't want games that demand a huge investment of time, or of practice to "get good". But I'm not looking for casual mobile fare either. The SteamWorld games hit just the right sweet spot.
