The main priority of the #game #developer usually is, introduction of their game to new players.
#addiction and time spent playing. (if a player spend a portion of their life playing a video game they'l feel a need to revisit it again even if they already completed it once already.
Todays games Mix player introduction and addiction, with nonstop never ending play. Look at games like #Roblox, #Minecraft and Splatoon.
Especially #splatoon you'll be playing the #turfwar untill either your battery life depletes, or you fall asleep. Even if you exersize some amount of self control there is no doubt that games can take a lot of ones time from their life.
