  4. #Tunng playing music venue #Ekko in #Utrecht, this evening. Friends and me playing records around the #concert, before/after the bands. And got the request just now to only play instrumental music. 😅

  9. #Tunng has new album coming soon. Which is just like 2005/06, except in 2025 or whatever's the year.

They are on tour too. tunng.co.uk/live/

  10. Decennial reminder that early #Tunng albums are absolutely stellar.

  11. In case you miss the golden era of #tunng, go and check out #efterklang's newest album. It's amazing.

"Look into the future mountains", y'all.

  12. #Tunng's "Comments of the Inner Chorus" is literal magick.

When I first heard it, in 2006, it was so fresh and wonderful, I still listen to it in awe.

I wish they kept making music this brave.

  13. Here are critically-acclaimed #folktronica hall-of-famers #Tunng in their more-electronic-than-popfolk days of glory:

This song is very special for me. It became my "new favorite" after I've decided to obtain their full discography. I used to be hooked on their "Comments of Inner Chorus" for years since its release.

"Good Arrows" in general is a strong album, but this song resonated with me in part because I could easily imagine it being played in a on Mar Sara, or a from a Space Construction Vehicle's radio, which was a fictional place I was rather invested in around that time with #BlizzardEntertainment still not openly whoring itself to fascist regimes and promoting critical and rebellious attitude.

Anyway, it made me feel like I'm "not here", which is something that I needed quite a lot back then.

I guess it makes perfect sense that back then they called the genre of their music SciFi-Prog-Folk.
