I try not to be too much of a complainer—really I do—but I do wonder, with a million tulip bulbs in full bloom, fruit trees exploding in their spring finery everywhere you look, why the NCC chooses to install plastic trees along the boardwalk at Dow’s Lake.
They’re unnaturally gaudy. And apparently light up at night.
