  1. Signs of the oncoming #Recession about to clobber #Australia.

I was driving through #Tuggeranong in the south of the #ACT and came across a recently closed bowling alley that had survived #Covid, survived the first wave of the #CostOfLiving crisis, but failed to survive the ongoing cost of living squeeze.

The recession is not going to be much fun as the least efficient businesses disappear from the urban landscape.

I feel we've had enough elections where this was a central issue that we can stop talking and just build it now.

  5. Today's adventure took me through the bushland behind #Theodore in #Canberra.

I saw a tree, which may have replaced my former favourite tree from when I used to hang out in #Tuggeranong, on top of Urambi Hills (I'm sure locals will know the one I mean).
