#Tufts researchers surveyed 514 U.S. #adolescents ages 13-17 and one parent each, looking at how specific qualities of a teen’s relationship with their #dog connect to coping with peer #stress. They found companionship and caring for the dog linked to healthier coping, while friction and viewing the dog as a replacement for people tied to less healthy strategies.
