Ante la situación que se da en algunas carreras técnicas y científicas como la ingeniería aeronáutica y espacial, la Universidad Politécnica de Delft ha decidido fijar cuotas mínimas para asegurar alumnado más paritario. #TUDelft tendrá así un 30% de alumnas frente al 22% que tiene ahora en el grado.
En España hay cifras similares, en torno al 18% en la Politécnica de Madrid, pero un 30% en la de Valencia o el caso anómalo de la de Vigo en su grado en Ourense con un 45% de mujeres desde luego hay otras ingenierías aún con más déficit de alumnas. Es decir, que medidas que disminuyan de partida la brecha de género están bien. Habrá que ver qué medidas continúan en las otras escalas de la carrera técnica y científica, y en la visibilización de las mujeres ingenieras y demás. Pero es un paso adelante.

#crowdfunding via de #tudelft voor een goedkopere, veiligere en milieuvriendelijkere manier van #pijnbestrijding tijdens gynaecologische ingrepen bij #vrouwen.

In plaats van een (scherpe, kwetsbare, minder veiligere) wegwerpnaald van €50 , is dit een €1 herbruikbaar verlengstuk waar een gewone goedkope (niet scherpe) spuit in past.

Het testen is al gedaan, er is alleen nog een beetje geld nodig voor de certificering en de mallen om op grotere schaal te produceren.

Op dit moment krijgen miljoenen vrouwen in de wereld geen verdoving omdat het te duur is. Met deze uitvinding wordt het zo veel goedkoper dat het wel haalbaar wordt.

Zo'n kleine investering, zo'n groot resulaat. Dat moet toch gewoon door gaan!?

Dit #crowdfunding moet slagen: het is een effectieve, goedkope en duurzame manier om #gynaecologische #verdoving toe te dienen met een eenvoudig #hulpmiddel en een standaard verdovingsspuit. Het kan overal ingezet worden, in Nederland net zoals in Afrikaanse landen.
