The Two Notes sits on top of a London City DEA100, a Dutch amp from the beginning of the 1970s. This very early specimen has plexi front and back plates. It's almost a real plexi besides some oddities and slight changes. But I had this one modded to Marshall specs and modded the input resistors to Marshall specs myself. I also added an extra tonestack switch so I can switch between the stock "vintage" setting and a more modern setting.

Where all my #tubeamp folks at? Do you play, own or collect #TubeAmps? Or perhaps you know them as the more appropriate #ValveAmps?
I grew up building, repairing and modifying tube amps of all sorts, but for me, nothing beats a 1960s #traynor pop-top.
What's your favourite amp to play or work on?

Looks like Alex Lifeson and Mojotone are bringing out new versions of Lifeson’s signature Lerxst amps.
That sound you are hearing right now (not the youtube clip) is me drooling. They are too expensive to really consider, but that doesn’t matter. I’m still drooling. Literally.
Hopefully we’ll have some good review videos soon. I want to hear more.

This yes. They have so many great videos. I made a little @Lankum playlist to share with a metalhead friend of mine just recentlyVery helpful for determining which instruments are making which noises on their recordings when the #concertina, #harmonium, #bagPipes, #fiddle, bowed #guitar, and broken Russian bayan #accordion are all run through the #tubeAmps
