Design Notes on my TTRPG's Introduction Pages and Core Rules sections.
The core question to answer is, why play this game instead of the other RPGs? This must be fully answered within the first 2 pages.
Players never read anything more than a paragraph of the rules before playing so keep things extremely intuitive and concise, and explain the rest to the GM.

Spent a lot of time this week on making new ancestry's for character creation, fixing up how narrative abilities are explained, redoing the form fillable pdf character sheet, and adding a few images to the character creation overview.

I have been thinking a LOT about realism lately, and how I can make some systems more realistic without bogging it down with complex systems.
Traditionally and RPGs we think of HP as a big bag of hit points, where as you get hit you take damage.
Lots of RPGS say that health actually represents how many swings you can take before you get hit, but all of those RPGS, and dnd, do not have systems that support that theory, which is why is doesn't hold up.

Based on my previous post (https://mstdn.dk/@leeleedee/111714845320025505), I thought I would start a thread of #TTRPGs and other #TabletopGaming books, adventures and resources that ARE available to buy as physical books in the EU (i.e printed and shipped from an EU source)
So if you are a game designer or author who has their books available on, for example, lulu.com, or you have previously purchased a great printed/physical #TTRPG resource and had it shipped to you in the EU, without added import taxes, then post a link to it as a reply here!

Merry Late Christmas. I was sick over the holidays so haven't done much. Did play around with Krita's screen recording and instagram reels a bit. The game got post poned to this week due to me being sick.
