gave a sketch i was working on last month another try. background is kinda a placeholder still but i think the figure's finally looking good.

scene composed in 3d in clip studio. feels very basic at the moment. i'll need to nudge objects around on the canvas in the next session.

Finally feel well enough to get back into drawing. This year I want to do both digital art and real media. I got a tiny watercolor sketchbook for Christmas and I finally doodled in the first page today

i made a few adjustments and thought more about her outfit. the headfin was difficult to design hair around, so i drew the hair on a new layer just in case i need a "bald" version! which one do you like better?

the design was actually kind of difficult for this one. i decided that instead of having a big awkward frill on her neck, it should be replicated in clothing. this is also a departure from my original designs from a while ago, i decided that curls suited her more

okay okay i've been talking up the shark girl drawing for two days, time to show it off! it's a gift in progress, and the recipient says it's ok to share :3 not the sardines, though. they're already gone. :ms_shark:

decent sketch today, ended up not liking the pose very much but there's still a chance of recovery tomorrow.

i don't think it works well for its intended purpose, but I think I can finish it regardless!
