And #TSN's new #wunderkind colour commentator and ex-NFL player Luke Willson, who is damned annoying, comments:

Luke Willson: ... If I'm Zach Collaros, I'm going to try to find a way to convert on second and long, and try to get the lead to three scores going into halftime.

Me: Brilliant! What a strategy - get the first down and then try to score some points. How is it possible that no one has hired this man to coach his own team? Will Bombers coach Mike O'Shea figure out this brilliant plan on his own?

Luke Willson is the pimple on the ass of the #CFL.

It was bad enough when they gave him multiple sideline segments every game last year - at least I could mute the TV during his segments. And yes, I absolutely did that.

This year they have him in the booth as a colour commentator. I can't easily mute that.

#TSN, I don't know how you managed to do it, but you're making me pine for the days of having Paul LaPolice in the booth. I didn't think that would be possible. Hell, I'd take Rod Black as the colour guy over Willson.

So, it was the first pre-season game of the 2026 CFL season today - Saskatchewan Roughriders at Calgary Stampeders. Even though one of those teams is the winner of last season's Grey Cup, and both have huge devoted fan bases, TSN couldn't be bothered to cover the game. No broadcast.

They have 5 separate TSN channels on my local TV service. There is rarely more than 2, and virtually never more than 3 different programs spread across those 5 channels. There are always duplicates.

But TSN did carry some idiotic *talk show about the NFL* during today's CFL game.

Jeebus, TSN - could you at least act like you care about Canadian sports once in a while?
