A few days ago I accidentally caused quite a bit of harm to some little creatures. I killed a small spider that was carrying all her eggs, and then, while picking up a small pot outside the front door, I crushed the eggs of a tiny bird. What a disaster!
So Luca drew inspiration from nests to create this dish. 🪺

Picked up a $7.50 beginner cross stitch kit.

Spent the first 20 minutes just learning how to thread the needle, only to realize the needle itself was busted.

Finally got about 50 stitches in, alongside some frayed thread and a whole stitch in the wrong place.

More stitches coming soon. Hopefully they form the right design!

There was one big misstep where I changed my mind about something and tried to undo a few stitches, which resulted in a big knotty mess that only scissors could fix. Thank you to the staff at #ZeroLatencyDublin for accommodating me at short notice this morning when an out-of-character whim prompted me to kidnap someone from a planned coffee meeting to a very unplanned adventure into the world of Virtual Reality games. Wouldn't have thought it would necessarily be my thing, but it was absolutely great fun and they were very welcoming to two first-timers who might not look like the expected demographic.
