Coming from Couchsurfing lessons? It seems it's maybe a copy.
🛋️ Couchers Deleted 🗑️ and back to the ones that didn't go crazy - I don't need to host like that! Or try completely heading the wrong way to do trust and feedback how it was *between it's people*. Even just to try it or 'make it optional' as the road to hell later.

thanks to #trustroots we camped @ kasper's property near #Aljezur. it was so lovely to share time with interesting and inspiring people that we stayed 5 days to chat, eat and help around the house. marc installed a kitchen sink in the shed and fiona mounted the water connection together with one of the other guests.
due some strong rain we realised that our #tent leaked. luckily we had a tube of seam grip glue with us. so we could glue the leaking areas.

@ajunjahi Es gibt die #Opensource -Alternativen #Trustroots und #bewelcome. In wie weit couchers.org auch open source ist , weiss ich nicht. Toll sind auch #1nitetent im Sommer, um ein Zelt im Garten aufzubauen und #Warmshowers, um #Langstreckenradfahrer zu beherbergen.

From what I've been reading about the history of #BeWelcome (http://www.bevolunteer.org/about-bevolunteer/history/), it sounds like #CouchSurfing and #HospitalityClub are proprietary #DataFarms, so I doubt they'd be interested in federation. But maybe BW and #TrustRoots.org would, and it would intriguing to find out where #HelpX, #Workaway, #WarmShowers, and any other existing hospitality exchange sites fit into this picture.

Fortunately, there are hospitality exchange sites that are run democratically by the volunteers that do the work, and their software is released as #FreeCode. Examples include #BeWelcome.org, and #TrustRoots.org

I've been tryn to get people behind #trustroots, #hitchwiki, #ecobasa, #foodsharing, #yunity into federated development.
...but for what ever reason they work to much project orientated.
But it could be also that I just suck at pitching ideas xD.

I don't know anyone from there, but did you know that there are house keeping plattforms. Can't remember it's names but you should find one usefull, thought.
It's people traveling or something and looking for someone taking care if stuff at their place while they are away.Also there are sites like bewelcome, #trustroots and co
