1000$ per ticket? 32000$ for the final?? i really don't know anybody who could afford this. and in complete disregard of the other reports about outrageous travel expenses for tourists in the us, the hotel owners complain about a lack of bookings for the event. with only one tiny hint at the reason for the basic bad vibe regarding the world cup in the us:

no visitor can be certain to enter the us when arriving at the airport. they could be let in, they also could be sent back. or they could be put into alligator alcatraz. even if i had that kind of money to spend i wouldn't prepare for such a journey, buy tickets, get reservations for hotels if there was the real possibility i could end up in an us-american concentration camp when trying to visit the games.

are these the 30 - 40% who never had any health insurance in the first place? so they don't care? gaz prices will rise since the us american fossilized industry will go with the flow that was started by the trump with his attac on iran! with this and trump's taxes everything will become more expensive.

and MAGA has definitively turned into a cult! no normal politicians there anymore, no normal voters, just faith and believers. they will forever be unable to solve real world problems. and they will fail at imaginary ones either ...

ich muss zugeben, ich neige zur schadenfreude; „geschieht dir recht“, kommt mir oft in den sinn, wenn ich briten über den brexit heulen höre, autofahrer über die spritpreise oder xenophobe, die sich über fehlenden service beschweren.

das wird bei dieser fußball-wm vermutlich auch wieder passieren. fußball ist mir mehr als egal, fußballfans, wenn ich ihnen im öpnv begegne, ultra-extrem unsympathisch, aber von mir aus, solln sie spaß am gekicke haben; solange sie mich nicht zwingen irgendwie mitzumachen!

aber die schadenfreude werde ich mir dieses jahr nicht verkeifen können: ticketpreise, touristenabzocke, und ICE. wieviel geheule werden die medien ablassen über fans, die von ICE gleich bei der einreise weggesperrt werden? ich wette, es werden vorher kaum berichte zu sehen sein, die die europäischen ICE-opfer thematisieren. wieviel lamento von fans über bahnfahrtpreise von 130$, parkgebühren von 200$ werden wir hören? die medien werden eine großartige zeit haben!

man kann allen fans nur raten: fahrt hin, habt spaß und nehmt kinder-überraschungs-eier mit!

ich glaube, die fifa hat trumps amerika verdient .... passen gut zueinander ...
