During #TrumpsAcceptanceSpeech last night, he brought out the #immigration chart he was about to talk about at his rally, claiming "It saved my life" (b/c turning to look at it resulted in the bullet missing his head.)
This is an exaggeration I'd like to quash here.
T****'s head had actually already been turned for a couple of seconds *before* the shot was fired. The shooter simply missed. It wasn't luck or "#DivineIntervention" that saved his life.
