Well it’s after 10 pm in New York at the moment and after 7 pm in Los Angeles. This means that Trump will be going into full sundowner mode and hopefully he’s texting like mad on his little social media platform.

Let’s hope that this time he posts something so utterly depraved and illegal that it will mean the end of him tomorrow.

It makes something else make a lot more sense, too - he's previously said he banned Epstein from Mar-a-lago over his (unspecified) behaviour. The mainstream media has generally played this as banning him for being creepy.

It wasn't. He was banned for poaching 2 (yes, there was another) teen girls from Trump's spa, which Trump referred to as "his". i.e. Epstein was banned for stealing from Trump, not for being a child sex trafficking creep.

Trump's complaint about "his" girl being "stolen" is also usefully seen as Trump seeing *himself* as the victim here. The tragedy is about his loss, not about what happened to the girls.
