Currently on an anti-trumpet vine rampage. The former owners let three pretty thick trunks form, and in addition to those we have shoots coming out throughout the yard.
I'm cutting them pretty far back, then trying to get to cut deep into the stump and using some of the stronger brush killer on the wound. (I typically avoid chemicals but give in for anything dangerous, like poison ivy, and aggressive.)
But now I have a ton of trumpet vine clippings, branches, etc to dispose of. Anyone know if they can be burned in a burn pile?
(I know trumpet vine leaves and flowers are slightly toxic but I am not sure if they let off anything noxious while burning, like poison ivy would.)
