Replaced the lithodora that I lost due to ants nesting in the pot. I’d had it for years before that. It flowers for months and is covered in bees when it’s sunny. #TrugLife

Feeling very grateful for my garden today. Although it causes me some stress and guilt around maintaining it, I only have to open my back door to “be in nature”.

Lots of birds, bees and butterflies visit 🥰

Garden is really greening up, with lots of colour. It’s a bit neglected, due to my burnout and overwhelm, but that benefits the wildlife at least. I’ve seen bees, butterflies and birds so far. Bird song is loud!

If I could give everyone just one gardening tip, it would be plant bulbs!

Even if it’s just in a pot on a balcony. The best return on investment. Plant once, forget about them, then in spring: *unconfined joy*!

This is one of my best performing plants.

A dahlia that I got years ago in a garden centre bargain bin. I’ve never lifted the tubers over winter and it comes back every year, flowering for months. All I have to do is deadhead it!

I *may* have bought a plant.

I didn’t have an echinacea and everyone needs at least one, right? I mean look how pink and fluffy it is. The variety is called “delicious candy” fergawdssake!!

Trying to budget for winter sun hols. Plants are a weakness, but I’ve been to Wilko to get seeds, which will work out much cheaper than buying plants. #truglife

Also got a wild flower seed box, which I’ve shaken all over my wild patch at the front. There’s loads left so will fill my pockets and scatter as I walk around the neighbourhood 😂 #GuerillaGardening
