He wasn't the worst, and did some good things. Made several gaffes too. Was certainly better than CPC alternatives (arguably still is), but leaders should know their best before dates, rarely do, and he's past his. Hopefully his successor can pull things together in time. PP would be a disaster. If the CPC were smart they'll chuck PP too.
