  1. @sneeden @crunklord420 the presser they had yesterday was long and nonsensical and i couldn't even make it to the end I was so livid

    1) The end of the COVID passport is a good thing...however there's a provincial government tender for an identification system so although we're getting rid of #moesmalware we're just replacing it with something else later once we spend a few more million$ on it, it'll probably be integrated into our drivers licenses or something.

    2) Shahab's reasoning as far as what the public is supposed to do was disgraceful and @Eris -level wrong: basically arguing that to excuse @scottmoe 's endangering the public that the changes won't have much of an effect because no one was actually following the rules and so it's plausible that removing them won't make things any worse https://shitposter.club/notice/AGH6UhT44pmyEmMfFg

    3) The changes are not, otherwise a good idea, and there is an active movement, more than anything else in the pandemic so far, to push back - the NDP, FSIN, Sask federation of labour, CUPE and Allah forgive me even Liberals, are starting to get on the same page of being willing to push back.

    4) Scott Moe's historical illiteracy would be stunning if he weren't so consistently ignorant of so many things before that point : when he says that saskatchewan has never had 2 classes of people, he completely misses that we *still* have 2 classes of people, thanks to the Indian Act and have since Saskatchewan started always had divisions that are much, much stronger than covidiot vs genpop. The best example of this kind of division is how much police / court BS that Tristen Durocher had to deal with vs the glowing support of the #truckersforcovid had from the sask party.

  2. @deesenaughts @D00B You are delusional

    First of all

    > Scum like you NEVER question how things are, or ask who really holds power.

I ask these kinds of questions, and I challenge you to find someone else asking about the connection between the #truckersforcovid and putin. And between the exact mechanisms of control from the #IDU to the #saskparty out here. I'll wait. A good part of my podcast was explaining, step by step, what kinds of power there is under the surface, and stuff like the continued existence of the anti- #greatcloudwall project is evidence against your claim.

There are power struggles going on in the world, and one of them is about public health. In Canada, the provinces are responsible for public health - and each province is handling this differently. Here in #saskatchewan, the progressives haven't been in power for well over a decade and are effectively politically marginalized. The anti-public health conservatives are the ones setting public policy, and *they* are the ones you would have a problem with if you have a problem with how things are run here.
