Thanks to suggestion by @sos I started looking at the #TurboPascal and found #TRSE or Turbo Rascal Syntax Error :)
This is exactly what I needed. Nice IDE, very good framework (identical to what I started to build), all the hacks at hand, easy building/running, and super small executable files at the end.
Now I'm re-learning Pascal. Play with a prototype before I began porting my existing effects. Just need to get used to the new framework.

Started working on turning my TRSE tutorial game into something else. Started with a new background today, still using the same old sprites. Need to change that. Also need to add a multicolour font, the single colour one comes in fuzzy for the moment.
I'm gonna make the guy a little Santa maybe, and the TT is going to become a snowball.
