Ok experts, I have not one but two TRS-80 Model 4 systems that display this. I have cleaned and adjusted the brightness/contrast knobs, and replaced the power supplies on both with brand new modern drop in ones. I have tried booting to Model 3 mode with no luck though can see the pattern change like it's not getting a sync.
Looking for suggestions, thanks! ❤️

My major project for this week is trying to get #FujiNet firmware v1.6.1 released. Seems like there's always another bug that needs to be squashed. Probably because FujiNet is available on so many systems and I'm still in the process of cleaning up all the copy&paste coding and creating proper base classes for everything.

My major project for this week is trying to get #FujiNet firmware v1.6.1 released. Seems like there's always another bug that needs to be squashed. Today I learned the dangers of shipping a TRS-80, which, you shouldn’t. It came with the CRT dropped, front panel cracked, CRT mount points cracked, and the tube socket damaged. Slowly replacing parts to see if I can get it to work, in the mean time I did a quick Acetone repair…

Came across a Radio Shack 26-1201 TRS-80 video display at an antique mall for $20 yesterday - allegedly it works, but I do not have a TRS-80 to try it out with. I have read you can connect a TRS-80 to a composite display by making a simple DIN-5 to composite adapter and only hooking up pins 4 & 5.
Would that work the other way around? My understanding is that at least one of the 5 pins is 5v, so I assume the monitor needs that for some reason.
