And please - I know this is very #oldschool and "#trivial" - before you want to move your service to another provider / machine / IP address / .... - change the TTL of your #DNS record(s) to a low value - 30 seconds or a minute for example - and wait until your old #TTL has elapsed.

I witnessed again this noob mistake. Service down for 80% of users for hours.....

If you do not follow this make sure your service tasks on the old address remain active and in sync until the TTL is over.
