For my tea tonight I am #cooking #fish stew. I got a "bag of fish bits" from the fishmonger - just random scrag ends and off cuts - so cheap it was practically free that I am cooking with onion and leek, root vegetables, wine, and ... I've not decided what herbs or spices to add yet. And while I was preparing everything, a podcast episode about #tripe. I remain unconvinced that tripe is fit for human consumption.

Oh joy.... the national television channel from my home country, Radio-Canada, put out a piece of tripe about transgender care in my home province, Québec.
I watched it.
It infuriated me.

Last Sunday, during my visit to the awesome Buen Retiro Park in Madrid, I came across the Monument of the Ángel Caído (Fallen Angel), a bronze statue dedicated to #Lucifer and located 666 meters above sea level (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuente_del_%C3%81ngel_Ca%C3%ADdo). A few hours later, my stomach full with Madrid-style #tripe, #jamon serrano and baked Iberian suckling pig, I began my monthly #fast, which I've broken today, weighing 66.6kg, with 666g of pork rib.
Coincidences? I don't believe 😈 -
