LBM/MCC yesterday was fun! This year, I went with @brezeldrache. We got to see a lot of pretty things and even though there weren't as many cosplayers as on weekends, we spotted a lot of Maomaos and Jinxs and Frierens and talked to couple nice people. :) I also got to chat with @inkdustrielle so that was lovely, too!
@brezeldrache is Meryl Strife from Trigun Stampede. I am Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII.

My wife simply said:
"It lacks the Humor of the original, and I hadn't realized how much of that humor was load bearing."

Of course she's right, and I knew it right away, but that one sentence review has been on my mind every time i think of the series since. And it's perhaps the most accurate thing anyone has ever said about #TrigunStampede

Finally got around to #TrigunStampede .
I'm sure i"m not breaking any new ground when i say... it's not as good as the original.
I said:
The 8 or so epps at the beginning (of the original) where Vash is just fucking around in the desert and helping people builds him up as a carachter and a gunfighter. I don't know if the new Vash is as good a gunfighter as the original. Worse??? Better??? I don't get to see him doing cool things.

Trigun – Continuação do Remake ganha trailer e previsão de estreia
Trigun Stampede (2023)

Don't hate me, but I finally watched #TrigunStampede and I was disappointed.
“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜. 𝙄𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙩.”
I absolutely love how these photos came out! Trigun has always been a favorite series of mine and as I soon as I saw Vash in the remake I immediately wanted to recreate his outfit.
Moving around in this cosplay was surprisingly easy! The only thing I couldn’t do was bend my arm more than 45 degrees 😅
