Anna Pigeon Mysteries comes to U&Drama
UKTV’s U service continues to bring new content (and I’m behind on watching a few shows now), this week bringing US/Canadian show Anna Pigeon Mysteries. It came from nowhere as far as I’m concerned, but looks worth a watch.
I did some research for CultBox, and found it’s adapted from the first of a series of best-selling (19 so far) novels by Nevada Barr, so could well run and run. Anna herself is played by Tracy Spiridakos and is a former city slicker who became a National Park Service park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever.
An impressive looking cast includes Tricia Helfer, who tends to be in long-running successful shows (Battlestar Galactica, Lucifer, van Helsing). I will watch (just need to get back to the latest Chelsea Detective!
