Okay so something that's been bugging me about #TrialsOfMana is the soundtrack. For the most part it's a pretty competent remix/modernization thing, but every now and then it gets super muddy.

First class change! Charlotte is going Dark, Angela and Duran are going Light. Charlotte on debuffs with a little offensive magic amd party heal, Angela for primary DPS, Duran tanks and supports. God I love a good class system :D #TrialsOfMana #rpg #gaming #RetroGaming

I like the way the game hypes up the Minor Mallet as a legendary item hidden for years, that you have to visit an illicit market to find... And then the owner just goes, "Oh, this junk? Sure, it's yours." :P #TrialsOfMana #RPG #Gaming #Retrogaming

hhgh. I really miss when the Mana series had multiplayer. I've been saying for years now, I'd pay full price for a Mana game with drop in-drop out online multiplayer. You could do it like Trials, have a bunch of different playable characters, then every time you enter a combat area you get paired up with people in the same region of the game. Anyway, initial impressions: Oddly slapdash in places and high-quality in others. Combat's a little awkward, but I'm enjoying the new stat management and skill system.

The voice acting is wildly inconsistent -- the Beastmen's VAs are terrible. Angela's is pretty good. Charlotte's is doing her best with a baby-talk character and bless her for trying. Why is Wisp a twink?
