  1. As #TrevorPhillips interviews #Polanski, a jew, about antisemitism it may be important to remember that Phillips was suspended from the Labour Party in March 2020 following allegations of Islamophobia, where the investigation focused on past comments and writings, specifically:
Claims that British Muslims were becoming a "nation within a nation"

    He's very dodgy

  2. #TrevorPhillips is trying to mock #Polanski by saying, "There is no mention of druids dancing in waters in your manifesto"

    Ffs

  3. #ChrisPhilp has the temerity to say on #TrevorPhillips that #Labour's visit to #China was to "secure a few economic crumbs"

Philp was the Chief Secretary to the Treasury (September 6 – October 14, 2022): As the Treasury's second-in-command, he was a key figure during the "mini-budget" period and fucked loads of mortgages

    #crumbs

    Philp was keen

  8. Jeff Randall the former business editor of the BBC suggests #TrevorPhillips was right to question #Reeves about her honesty

He reminds us of her book 'women and economics" which he says has over 20 plagiarism and her CV claims that she was an economist at the Bank of Scotland when she was working in the customer complaints dept
."do we now believe her now"

  9. Well said #Reeves to #TrevorPhillips explaining about a child born through non consensual sex when discussing the 2 child cap

Most decent minded people want this removed

    #Badenoch doesn't

Are you choosing party before country? Phillips asks

I am choosing children, she replies

  10. "We are going to raise £10 billion by cutting down on tax avoidance." #Reeves on #TrevorPhillips

HMRC estimates the UK lost £0.2 billion to tax avoidance for the 2023 to 2024 tax year, which is a small component of the total estimated £46.8 billion "tax gap" (the difference between tax owed and tax collected).

  11. #Badenoch rattles on about the #Chagos islands on #BBCLauraK and #TrevorPhillips

I am fairly sure there are very few people in the streets of the UK for whom this is of consequence xx

  12. #Philp comments on ##TrevorPhillips about the police taking people's details ....

    He incorrectly says:

"That the police should only be recording people's details if there is a clear and imminent risk of criminality following"

This unhappy idea inexorably leads to a police state, and Philp's claims here are both spurious and mask his wish for an aggressive authoritarian society.

    We see you.

  13. #Philp explains on #TrevorPhillips that "#JustStopOil have been illegally blocking roads again and again"

Rather like the farmers will next week when they protest in London

But just stop oil don't wear gilets or barbours

    Xx

  14. "The first thing #Labour does is take the winter fuel allowance from the poorest in our society whilst leaving the wealthiest people pretty much untouched. The top 50 families in Britain are worth 500 billion pounds. That's the same as half of Britain. Why wasn't the choice made to tax the wealthy? It's completely wrong." - Sharon Graham, General Secretary of Unite on #TrevorPhillips 22-09-24
