    I love all kinds of #Swallows. We get large flocks visiting #Florida in the colder months. I once was "embedded" in a large murmuration in the #Everglades and it looked like it had started raining. Then we realized it was the birds pooping on us. Not to worry... they were just little pellets of insect exoskeleton (not the more familiar white bird "poop" which is actually the equivalent of urine for birds).

    One evening I saw a bunch flying low over the reeds in our lake feeding on midges. I went out and captured this video. I also experimented with in-camera and post-processing slow motion. No music, so if you bump up the volume you can hear their little chips and then the same slowed down. It is kind of beguiling. 🙂
