It was a quiet and calm sunset. The colors were amazing, totally unexpected. Our house was in a middle of a field, so we could see all mountains around us. The pink sky behind this one was just astonishing.

After six weeks, we’re back at the hotel where we spent our first night in New Zealand.
I miss my little one, but otherwise—I don’t want to leave.
Tomorrow, the 35-hour journey home begins.

Today was a rainy day. A bit chilly.
I worked a little in the morning, then spent some time reading a novel. In the afternoon, we went to the gym, where we ran into a gentleman my partner insists we’ve met multiple times already. He was chatting with me in a friendly, enthusiastic manner, but I didn’t understand a word—so I just pretended to be listening to music while running next to him on the treadmill. -

While my boyfriend did most of the work (i had only one court case to attend to), I went for a short hike overlooking the town and Marlborough sounds. Nice hour-and-a-half walk, nice views.
