  1. A long-forgotten treasure from Dad’s place!

My real estate agent recently sent me a collection of old maps she found tucked away in a cupboard, including a map of Australia from around the 1970s.

My uncle and his Australian wife lived in New South Wales back then, and he often wrote home about his fishing adventures.

Growing up across the river from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, I was fascinated by how different another country could feel, even just a few miles from home. Perhaps that's where my curiosity about faraway places began, realizing that a whole different world could be waiting just across the river.

  2. Safely back from the Swiss and Italian Alps! 🏔️ Plenty of ground-level photos to sort through soon, but zero aerial shots...

First launch attempt, wide-open mountain skies, and I somehow hit the one high-voltage powerline in sight. Drone destroyed instantly – a one-in-a-million blunder. Disappointing, to say the least, but replacement shopping starts now. Next trip, it flies! 🛸💥

  4. Your first @ owes you a trip like this. ❤️

Some moments look good on camera.

They're even better when you're actually there.

  6. The Morning We Landed on Good Morning America

A Facebook Memory brought it all rushing back - GMA, the jerky mishap, the cheetah, the river, the skyline.. all of it.

  7. Throwing it back to one of my favorite moments at the Brandenburg Gate! 🇩🇪✨ This stunning 18th-century neoclassical monument truly embodies so much history. Can you believe it was originally built as a symbol of peace, only to later become a poignant reminder of the Cold War divide? 😮 Now, it stands proudly as a beacon of unity, freedom, and peace not only for Germany but for all of Europe. 🌍❤️ Walking through Pariser Platz feels like stepping right into the pages of history. Every visit is a reminder of how far we've come and the importance of standing together. Can't wait to explore it again! 🕊️💫

  8. Seals, Selkies, and a Sweet Irish Sea

A cozy travel reflection from the Irish coast—watching wild seals, breathing in the sweet ocean air, and imagining selkies and sea-soaked folklore I’ll never forget.

  10. watching the city move past me.

The last time I left Odessa was in February 2022, through the airport.
Since then, nothing feels the same.

If the war had never happened, I know I would still be returning — again and again — to this city that once felt like a second home.

  11. What a productive week! 📸 I’ve just finished sorting through the photo album from my recent adventure in China, and I’m surprised by how quickly it all came together. 🇨🇳

Being able to bring the drone along was a total game-changer. 🚁 The aerial perspectives add such a unique dimension to the mix – it’s amazing to see those landscapes from a different angle. 🌏

  14. That Time I Might Have Seen Markiplier in an Icelandic Museum

Travel has a way of surprising you, of offering moments that feel fleeting and almost unreal. Sometimes, the memories that stick the most aren’t the grand vistas or the perfectly curated photos—they’re the small, unexpected encounters that make you pause and question reality. For me, one of those moments happened in Iceland, during a family trip in 2023. I like to think of it as my “maybe” celebrity sighting, a fleeting glimpse of someone I’ve admired for years: […]
