Paratha, 'Priya' cut mango pickle, and desserts of soan papri and gulab jamun - were store bought. Very happy with the quality of the desserts!
Everything turned out tasting great! Almost everything via partner's prep ahead and cooking.
There was enough food, leftovers for 5 maybe more. I never got a pic of all the dishes - as they went out to the table. But when partner and I finally sat down - I managed 2 pics of my plate with a bit of everything.

Getting set to give our friends an "Indian" dinner. Made most things at our temp apt. Will start with a bhel/chaat type appetizer while rest of food is reaheted and prepped.

60 s onion chop - I don't use this old knife much - but it's totally coming through in travel. Travelled with a few slices and ingredients - picked up fresh green and dried red chillies here (forgot bay leaf) and ghee. And hey -simple Bengali style masoor daal is ready.
