Went out to play with the #Sirui 1.33x #anamorphic adapter for mobile phones earlier today, shooting a sunrise at #HadleighCastle in #Essex.
Initially, I wanted to get an anamorphic lens with neutral-coloured flare for my full frame camera, but seeing this makes me just want to stick with the blue flare which most people associate with anamorphic lenses.

Being in #Reykjavik city centre, there was not a hope in hell of me seeing the #AuroraBorealis (#NorthernLights) with the naked eye. But I could find the Big Dipper with the naked eye, so I simply pointed my camera at the saucepan in the sky and fired off a few shots in the dark. This was one of those shots.

My last trip was the first trip I ever made out of #HeathrowAirport's #Terminal2, but it wasn't actually the first time I've been to T2.
I was one of the lucky test passengers pretending to board fake flights to stress test the terminal before it opened for real.
It's nice to be back and NOT miss my actual flight though, as during the testing phase, despite arriving on time, I missed my fake flight due to the way the queues and the systems crashing.
Am absolutely knackered after about a week in #Iceland, but dang do I have some wonderful shots to share in due course!

#CherryBlossoms season in Japan is usually around March to April, although you can usually see them later than that if you go to an area where the temperature is cooler.
I shot these in late April on the banks of #LakeAshi in #Hakone. Lake Ashi is 723m above sea level, where the temperature is cool enough for the cherry blossoms to be around in late April / beginning of May.

Luggage can be stored in the lockers for up to 24 hours and takes coins, so make sure you have a supply of coins.
