#Jaipur was my last stop in #Rajasthan. A city packed with highlights like the Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort and the Monkey Temple. But it was also the most chaotic city I visited in the region.
There’s a lot to see in Jaipur, and architecturally it’s impressive, but walking around the city exhausted me. Endless traffic, noise, crowds and trash everywhere. After a few days, I felt pretty overwhelmed.

It’s not just the lakes and the surrounding hills, or even the old town
There’s something about the whole setting that makes it a really enjoyable place to explore
But the highlight is the City Palace, massive, one of the biggest in #India (up there with #Mysore). Endless rooms, intricate details, and some great views over the lake.

In terms of scale and complexity, it’s a remarkable piece of architecture.
Not as widely known as other landmarks in #India, but without a doubt one of the most impressive works I’ve come across.
