A few years ago, the bonehead kid living next door dumped the ashes from their portable firepit into the trash can. That left a pool of melted plastic on the curb, and singed an overhanging tree pretty badly.

Yup. One of the parties has since published A Thing about it, and ... wow, it's disingenuous. Very disappointed in them. They doubled down on a bullshit interpretation of what happened, probably because admitting what *actually* happened would acknowledge that how they reacted was very, very inappropriate.

IMHO The whole implementation of #YouTube auto-#translate is a #trashfire.
1) 🗑️ The quality is just trash; the meaning is soo often butchered, it's embarrassing.
2) 😡 It's a forced feature, no way of disabling. Changing language doesn't help cuz YT will just force-translate to THAT language. 🤦
3) 😕 YT shows ZERO indication the title was auto-translated. No, "Auto-dubbed" doesn't count, that's something different.Classic example of an #AntiFeature in #proprietary software.
