I’ve now finished playing Guild Wars 2—and most likely not just for the time being, but for good.
I had a wonderful time in that fictional world over the last few years, mostly on my own because that’s what I wanted. 😉
Right now and going forward, I’m focusing on games that are mostly single-player, with only the occasional co-op title—that’s what I enjoy these days.
Transport Fever 2 (and soon 3), as well as Astroneer and Helldivers 2, have been the games I’ve enjoyed the most over the past few years.
There are also a few “roguelike” titles, but those are just occasional diversions for me when I want to do something relatively mindless. 😁

I've been looking for a city-building or transport game that runs well on Steam Deck and is usable with a controller for ages, and I finally found one!
Transport Fever 2 runs and controls wonderfully on Deck. I can only recommend giving it a try!
For those who don't know, it's kind of like a 3D, high-fidelity OpenTTD. It's really fun and the sequel is coming out this year too.

For years, I only used Windows for gaming. Now I'm using Linux for everything (again).
To my surprise, gaming on Linux (I use CachyOS BTW) has been an amazing experience! Way easier than I expected. BUT... there's one outstanding issue.
If any of you play #transportfever2 on #Linux ... I have an onboard Intel video card with a dedicated Nvidia card and no matter what I do, TF2 leans on the Intel card first. I've read the CachyOS gaming docs, used Lutris, etc. If you have ideas, I'm all ears!

Aktuell suchte ich wieder mit Transport Fever 2 herum. Es gibt wohl kaum ein anderes PC-Spiel, mit dem ich so viel Zeit verbracht habe. Laut Steam sind es aktuell rund 220 Stunden.

Ich hab heute ein Lenovo #Ideapad Flex5 14" mit einem #Ryzen 7 4700u.
Das ist mein einziges Gerät, kein extra Tower.Damit spiel ich zB #Anno 1404, #TransportFever2, #CitiesSkylines.
Gekauft hab ich den 2020 und jetzt schlawenzel ich grad drum rum, ob ich in einen neuen mit einem Ryzen AI 300 investieren soll, mit der Radeon 880M drin 🤔
Finde die aber alle so teuer 😶🌫️
Ziel wäre zB Anno 1800 und 117, Cities Skylines 2.

I'm mostly on here to talk about #VideoGames, but it's a bit of a variety account.
Some of my favourites are #CItiesSkylines2, #TransportFever2, #TombRaider, #Fallout, #DragonAge
I don't understand how people can't just be kind to each other, and I try to abide by that. That said, I have a short fuse when people are being arseholes.
I'm primarily using #Linux #Bluefin / #Bazzite these days, so post a bit about that.

As we all know, the makers of #TransportFever2 have hinted strongly that #TransportFever3 is coming next year.
One thing I'd love to see that afaik no game has done: canals! Real canals like the British ones. And plateways etc. Start the game in 1700, not 1850.
Or am I alone in this?

I'm currently playing #CitiesSkylines2, #TransportFever2 and will be starting a #TombRaiderRemastered series over the weekend.
The #TombRaider Remasters are pretty important to me - the original TR game was the first game I got on my PS1 way back in the day - it was also the first game I played on my channel when I first started it! #ShareYourGames
